Welcome to Core Fiesta. This guide walks new players through their first steps - making money, leveling, enhancement and job promotions.
Server rates
- Experience rate: x15
- New characters: double EXP from monsters up to level 40, tapering off to normal at level 60 (not for monsters more than 10 levels above you)
- Party bonus experience for members on the same map and close to the kill
- Weekly events (UTC): Wednesday 18:00-20:00 1.5x EXP, Friday 18:00-20:00 1.5x EXP and drops, Sunday 18:00-20:00 2x drops
Starter pack
Every account gets one free starter pack, once, when it next creates a character. It waits in the Item Mall storage (take the items out in game): an HP Magic Potion, an SP Magic Potion, an Old Bag (7 Days) and a Blessing of Teva (1 Day), which stops EXP loss on death. The items are bound to the character: they cannot be traded, dropped, sold or stored.
Making money (early)
- Kill monsters, collect the copper they drop and sell their loot to NPCs
- Join a guild academy at Guild Manager Brom in Roumen for leveling rewards
- Later: sell green drops to NPCs, trade rare sets and Item Mall items with other players
Leveling path
Early (1-20)
- 1-5: Roumen
- 5-10: Forest of Tides
- 10-20: Forest of Mist or Echo Cave
At level 20, take the job-promotion quest from Guard Captain Shutian in Elderine, then see Grand Master Sean in Forest of Mist.
Mid (20-70) - Abyss by zone
- 20-30: 2X Abyss · 30-40: 3X · 40-50: 4X · 50-60: 5X · 60-70: 6X
The 2X-5X abysses (20-60) are reached through the Forest Perimeter gate in Elderine, 6X and higher (60+) through the Forest Perimeter gate in Uruga.
Late (70+)
- 80-95: Guardian Masters (level 91) in Burning Rock
- 95-110: Black Bears (level 106) in Alberstol Ruins and Dark Land, Black Shadows (level 105) in Temple of Spirit, Origin of Life Tree, and Experiment Subjects (level 106-110) in the Secret Laboratory instance
- Monsters far below your level give almost no EXP (9 or more levels below: practically nothing) and no normal drops (10 or more levels below). Monsters a few levels above you give more EXP.
Enhancement
Enhancing can fail, and from +1 upward a failure can also lower or destroy the item, so only enhance gear you can afford to lose. Stones drop from monsters and dungeon bosses at every level range.
Job promotions
Level 60: a three-part quest - see Grand Master Sean, clear 30 zombies in Roumen, then a roulette minigame + boss, and finally protect NPCs in Roumen and Elderine (shortened to 2 minutes here).
Level 100 (Prestige): a chain of NPC interactions across Alberstol Ruins and the towns, ending at Alberstol Chief Kiera where you choose your prestige class. See the Prestige guide for skill comparisons.
